OLAP
SDMC has worked with Oracle OLAP since before it became part of the Oracle Database core product line. In 2001 two SDMC consultants co-authored the book "Implementing Oracle Financial Analyzer: Delivering value-added business processes with Oracle Analytic Solutions".
SDMC consultants have previously worked at Oracle in Engineering, Support & Consulting roles. We have implemented Oracle OLAP based solutions to many customers in government, retail, banking, services and telecommunication across North America, UK, Europe & Asia.
  • Management Reporting We have implemented many solutions based on Oracle OLAP from C-level management and reporting to operational reporting of key metrics. Through our implementation of Oracle OLAP use-cases include slice and dice and drill to relational data stores.
  • Forecasting & budgeting SDMC have implemented solutions to allow customers to forecast revenue, cost, assets and cash. We have enabled solutions for complex group company consolidation.
  • Predictive analytics Through the use of our FinanceHub software in conjunction with Oracle OLAP we enable deep learning predictive analytics and forecasting.
SDMC supplies FinanceHub software which can utilise Oracle OLAP as a data store. As part of FinanceHub we provide a next-generation integrated development environment and devops style workflow integration.
Oracle EPM
SDMC consultants have delivered customer-centric solutions based on Oracle's Enterprise Performance Management suite of products including:
  • Hyperion Financial Management SDMC consultants have worked to deliver consolidation and reporting solutions using HFM.
  • Financial Data Quality Management, Enterprise Edition SDMC have implemented solutions using FDMEE to orchestrate the movement of metadata and data into EPM applications.
  • Oracle Hyperion Planning SDMC consultants have implemented forecasting & budgeting solutions based on Oracle OHP platform.
